ATELIER Workshops
The La Loingtaine Atelier Workshops are orchestral work (studies) aiming specifically at preparing students for participation in the auditions and recruitment competitions of different orchestras.
The teachers are themselves members of an orchestra and their careers have often led them to play in several orchestras with diverse traditions and personalities. It is this broad experience that is passed on to the students and that represents a decisive asset for their early career paths.
The Atelier Workshops also provide a unique opportunity to approach the interpretation of various composers and, in particular, to gain experience of the approaches of the great conductors with whom teachers have had the privilege of playing with, e.g. Claudio Abbado, Nikolaus Harnoncourt , Carlo-Maria Giulini, Bernard Haitink.
