We were met with the utmost kindness and trust from the organizers and felt immediately included in the little family that is La Loingtaine. We’ve made memories and friendships here that will always transport us back to the old riverside villa, surrounded by grapevines and bubbling with music and laughter. »

« La Longtaine 2026 was absolutely the haven I didn’t know I needed this summer. I was inspired not only by the wonderful teachers and mentors, but by the collaborative and supportive atmosphere created by the other students, the kitchen team, and the residents of La Longtaine including Luna the dog! Days of practice were sustained by lessons, chamber music, conversation, fabulous home cooking, a ping-pong championship, sight reading and the occasional salsa dancing under the stars. If you practiced in the garden, you even occasionally got applause from a passing kayak or paddle boarder! Rural France with its 12th century churches, country peace, and summer sun provides exactly the space to work hard and experiment in an accepting, supportive environment. Thank you for having me! »
